Brief Synopsis:
The seventh series of property ladder continues to follow amateur developers as they renovate their properties in the hope of making a profit. Presenter Sarah Beeny draws on her decade of experience in the property sector to offer down-to-earth advice on the best ways to survive the seismic shifts facing the housing market.

Key Points:
The new series of PROPERTY LADDER has amended the format slightly to take on board the impact of the global financial crisis on the property market. In the UK it is known as PROPERTY SNAKES & LADDERS however we will retain the original title for international. PROPERTY LADDER is a proven success for Channel 4. Each episode of PROPERTY LADDER features people who have often given up their jobs to pursue the dream of becoming a successful property developer, but become so wrapped up in designing the dream home that they lose sight of what is most important – making a profit. The series is on a break but a decision will be taken in early 2010 about a commission for TX in 2011. The presenter Sarah Beeny has written two best-selling books both on the subject of developing property for profit to accompany the PROPERTY LADDER series. The second book in the series, Profit From Property, was rushed into a second reprint within a week of publication. Sarah Beeney also presents the talkbackTHAMES show STREETS AHEAD (6 x 1 hour) in which she focuses on a UK street where a group of neighbours have agreed to work together in a bid to improve their street’s kerb appeal. This series is available for Int. distribution. FMNA have also produced a US version - PROPERTY LADDER USA. PROPERTY LADDER has sold in over 15 countries.
